Magicgruppe Kulturobjekt

A collaboration with Marcel Hiller, Tamara Lorenz, Franziska Cordes, 
Thomas Musehold, Suchan Kinoshita, Markus Hahn, Sebastian Walther, 
Markus Zimmermann / Bonnefantenmuseum / Maastricht NL 2010

 

Under the name Magicgruppe Kulturobjekt, Marcel Hiller invited seven kindred artists from Germany, the Netherlands and Austria to develop a sculptural improvisation in the exhibition space. 

Using simple construction materials and objects they happened to find, the artists, working in different combinations, reacted to each other's improvisations and interventions. The installation derives its raison d'être from this process of action and reaction rather than from a preconceived plan or story.
